Hey Sophie! Beautiful stuff! I love that it looks like watercolour but is acrylic, and large scale. This one and "blush" are my faves. I have some ceramic sculptures that I made a couple years back that would be right at home in there! Congrats on a lovely website! Heidi
Great job witht he blooging. I started painting. I got an easel for christmas and I am on my first one. Working from photos and drwing but being creative with colour. Perhaps I can blog mine. When your silly teacher was telling you to glaze I thought that was funny because your washes look like glazes to me. Love you darling. Kim
Sophie Huot is an artist and art therapist working in Montreal, Canada. Her paintings are often an exploration of the tension between what is real and what is imagined. Themes of interest to her as an artist and art therapist are our relationships to our homes and childhoods, and how we express these attachments. She also likes writing songs, knitting and canning when she's not painting.
